research and development company focused on commercializing technology

MATHEMATICIAN and COMPUTER PROGRAMMER
RESEARCH ENGINEER
Primarily working on machine vision and image processing
systems, as well as working in the area of robotics, human-computer
interaction, and network systems as part of Small Business Innovative Research Contracts
funded by the Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Transportation
(DoT), and NASA.
- Strong mathematics background
and C/C++ skills required.
- Physics-based mathematics a plus.
- Familiarity
with structure-from-motion calculations, GUI design, and X-windows programming
helpful.
- Good formal presentation and proposal writing skills
a plus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills are necessary
to complement small (2-5 person) teams working cohesively toward development
of prototype systems.
- All experience levels will be considered
- 3-5 years with B.S. or M.S. preferred.
- Primary skills are general
programming experience, familiarity with Linux and Windows, and familiarity
with Machine Vision.
NETWORK ENGINEER and CUSTOMER SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVE
Primarily working on development and support with our NetMAX product line.
- TCP/IP knowledge required.
- Windows networking (workgroups, domains, WINS, file sharing, print sharing) knowledge required.
- Programming knowledge in at least one high-level language (i.e. C, C++, Java, Perl, PHP) required.
- General knowledge of HTML is helpful.
- A willingness to learn quickly, and a desire to communicate on technical matters with customers (users) is important.
- Perl programming knowledge is highly preferred.
AEROSPACE ENGINEER
Primarily working in an engineering role to develop technologies
and products as part of Small Business Innovative Research Contracts
funded by the Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Transportation
(DoT), and NASA.
- Experience in standard (Kalman Filtering), as well as hybrid advanced
methods of data fusion required.
- Experience in real-time systems development and concept development
prototyping is key.
- Embedded software development experience
with inertial sensors, GPS hardware/software, and aircraft sensors
is a plus.
- Moderate to expert software programming skills in C/C++ required.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills are necessary to complement
small (2-5 person) teams working cohesively toward development of
prototype systems.
- Good formal presentation and proposal writing skills a plus.
- Masters in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering
or Physics preferred.
ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
Primarily working in an engineering role to develop
technologies and products as part of Small Business Innovative Research
Contracts funded by the Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Transportation
(DoT), and NASA.
- Experience in the conceptualization, board-level design and fabrication
oversight of microprocessor and/or microcontroller embedded electronics
required (electronics will include analog signal conditioning,
signal digitizing, digital design in support of uP, uC, and DSPs).
- Experience with imaging and non-imaging optical, acoustic, inertial
and MEMS-based sensors desired.
- Experience in real-time hardware/software systems development and
concept development prototyping is important.
- Embedded software development
experience with inertial sensors, GPS hardware/software, and aircraft
sensors is a plus.
- Moderate to expert software programming skills in C/C++ and assembly required.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills are necessary to complement
small (2-5 person) teams working cohesively toward development of
prototype systems.
- Good formal presentation and proposal writing skills a plus.
- Strong mathematics background required.
- Signal processing experience
and/or background a plus.
- 3-5 years work experience with B.S. in Electrical Engineering or M.S.
in Electrical Engineering preferred.
COMPUTER SCIENTIST
Primarily working in a programming role to develop technologies and products
as part of Small Business Innovative Research Contracts funded by the
Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Transportation (DoT), and
NASA.
- C/C++ software programming skills required.
- Moderate to expert Linux programming skills required.
- Moderate to expert Windows programming skills required.
- GUI design and X-Windows programming helpful.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills are necessary to complement
small (2-5 person) teams working cohesively toward development of
prototype systems.
- Good formal presentation and proposal writing skills helpful.
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience required.
- Linear algebra knowledge helpful.
- Sockets programming experience helpful.
- Multithreaded programming experience helpful.
- SQL expertise helpful.
- Data encryption methods and SSL experience helpful.
- Linux system administration experience helpful.
RESEARCH ENGINEER
Lead development efforts related to real-time systems development (Embedded software, GPS hardware/software, and aircraft sensors), design sensor instrumentation to detect falls in elderly patients, and develop automated medication dispenser products as part of Small Business Innovative Research Contracts funded by the
Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Transportation (DoT), and
NASA.
- 802.11 a/b/g wireless network knowledge required.
- Bluetooth, zigbee and mesh network knowledge required.
- Standard Kalman Filtering, as well as hybrid advanced methods of data fusion knowledge required.
- M.S. in Electrical Engineering required.
- Good presentation and proposal writing skills a plus.
