Orlando, Florida - Cybernet Systems Corporation, a leading defense, engineering, and simulation systems development company, today announced the hire of Mr. Ron Harper as Vice President of Information Assurance and Training Systems.
Mr. Harper takes over Cybernet Systems’ office in Orlando, FL, which since 2009 has focused on Information Assurance and Cyber Security solutions, in addition to supporting Cybernet Systems training technology as an awardee on both the Full-and-Open and Small Business set aside lots of the STOC-II Program. Mr. Harper replaces the retired Mr. Paul Bernhardt in the position, who will remain part of Cybernet Systems as a permanent consultant.
Previously at Laser Shot, Mr. Harper served as the Director of the Simulation and Training Center, as well as their Program Manager for the U.S. Army's "Game After Ambush!" contract. Mr. Harper was on active duty in the U.S. Army for more than 26 years, including time at the Simulation, Training and Instrumentation Command (STRICOM) as an Acquisition Officer and Product Manager for Digitized Training in the Program Management Office Training Devices (PM TRADE). He retired from active duty in 2001 as a Lieutenant Colonel.
