Cybernet Systems Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy covers how Cybernet Systems treats personal information that we collect and recieve.  Please note that this policy does not apply to Cybernet Medical's Telemedicine Service.   Cybernet Medical is bound by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA, Title II), which addresses the security and privacy of health data.

Personal information, for the purposes of this policy, is specific information about you that is personally identifiable (name, address, e-mail address, phone number) that is provided to Cybernet Systems (or any of our family of websites) by you.  We may come by this information in any of the following ways:

• When you submit a registration form to gain access to Cybernet Systems materials and/or products.
• When you purchase a product or service from Cybernet Systems.
• When you e-mail us directly asking for information on our products and/or services.
• When you sign up for a Cybernet Systems mailing list.
• When we combine information resources with business partners to make wider offerings.

Personal information collected by Cybernet Systems varies depending on what you submit to us.  Mailing list requests, for instance, require only a valid e-mail address to be submitted.  Items like product purchases will require a valid name, address, and perhaps other items depending on your billing arrangements.

Cybernet Systems maintains records about your transactions with us, and your use of some of our products and services.

Cybernet Systems server logs record information whenever you visit any of our family of websites, including such things as IP address and what page(s) you visited.  Some sites may also require the use of cookies in order to validate who you are, in order to provide access to certain products and services.

Cybernet Systems uses the information it collects for a few general purposes: to fulfull your requests for our products and/or services, to improve our services by determining where our energies are best spent, to contact you, and for anonymous statistical measurement of our web traffic and marketing efforts.

Cybernet Systems does not rent, sell, or share your personal information with other people or nonaffiliated companies, with the following exceptions:

• When we have your permission to do so in order to provide products or services you've requested.
• When we are legally required, (via subpoenas, court order, or legal process) to do so.
• Should Cybernet Systems ever merge with or be purchased by another company, such information will be transferred to them.

Cybernet Systems protects your personal information in the following manners:

• Employee access to your personal information is limited to those who reasonably would have need to contact you, for the purpose of fulfilling your requests for products and/or services, or to do their jobs.
• Personal accounts affiliated to Cybernet Systems services are password protected, and use industry standard encyption to protect your data.
• We have strong safeguards in place to protect your personal information that comply with federal security standards.

Cybernet Systems may update this policy from time to time.  Cybernet Systems will announce any such changes on this website.
