PROJECT MISSION

Cybernet demonstrated a system for identifying large caliber ammunition (such as 120 mm mortar shells) through a combination of physical characteristics such as size, shape, color, and standard markings. The prototype system showed that the concept was capable of recognizing shells as they are loaded into an ammunition magazine. The system can be used to increase the speed and accuracy of loading rounds into these automated magazines.
