Reserve Parachute Automatic Opening Device (AOD) for Low-Altitude Jumps Project Mission | Intellectual Property | Project Status
Since 1999, Cybernet has been working with the US Army Natick Soldier Center to develop an AOD for low-altitude static line jumps. This AOD is compatible with the current parachute system (the T-10C and the MC1-C), and future parachute systems such as the Advanced Tactical Parachute System (ATPS). The development will significantly lower the number of fatalities and injuries caused by parachute malfunctions. The effort leverages Cybernet expertise in low cost MEMS inertial measurement systems integration. AOD Design and Design Validation. Completed for U. S. Army: Yuma Proving Ground. The technology developed in this program is commercially available - please contact us for more information. |
