Cybernet FDM Prototyping Services

We provide FDM rapid prototypes shipped to you FAST!

The prototypes will be built of ABS plastic in the color of your choice. The FDM process creates models which have 85% of the strength of the equivalent molded part. The FDM machine can build parts up to 10 x 10 x 10 in (254 x 254 x 254 mm) with an accuracy of ±.005 in (±.127 mm).

How to have a prototype made for you:

Step 1: Create your design in the solid modeling system of your choice. Save your model in one of the accepted CAD file formats.

Step 2: Get a volume estimate from your solid modeling system. Also, get an estimate of the amount of support material your model will need. Note, at the present time, we only make parts which fit inside a cube 10" x 10" x 10".

Step 3: Submit FDM prototype order by entering you name, mailing address, and payment information.

CYBERNETWe will return a web page with your estimated cost and a job code.

Step 4: E-mail your CAD data file as an e-mail attachment to quote-prototype@cybernet.com with the job code as the subject of the message. Note: The CAD data file must be one of the accepted CAD file formats.

CYBERNETWe will convert your data file to the form needed for FDM quotation and fabrication. Your formal quotation will be returned by e-mail.

Step 5: E-mail us your acceptance of the quotation by send mail to make-prototype@cybernet.com with the job code as the subject of the message. Any special requirements or requests can be included in the message body. If you do not want us to make your part, please e-mail to cancel-prototype@cybernet.com with the job code as the subject of the message.
