Glover, Executive Director of the SBTC said “… In testifying before Congress, educating legislative staffers about the small business programs, and building relationships with members of Congress, you have time and again shown a willingness to lead on issues that are so important to thousands of innovative high-tech small businesses.  Under your leadership, the SBTC has made great progress in a number of policy areas.  Most notably you have worked concurrently with the National Defense Industry Association (NDIA) on the joint SBTC/NDIA DCAA committee to address difficulties DOD small businesses have had with cost-incurred audits…You have been a mentor, a leader, and a true friend of the small business technology community.  Your willingness to volunteer your time and energies towards promoting the interests of small businesses has made you invaluable to the SBIR community and the SBTC in honored and privileged to have had you as our Co-Chair.”

Lewis J. Ashley, former special assistant to the Army Material Command (AMC) commander, the AMC command’s ombudsman, and class of 2015 Army Material Command Hall of Fame inductee, said “Heidi has made real and important contributions to the US Army and in explaining to Army leadership the importance of the role of small business and SBIR programs to our nation’s defense and well being.”
