Robot Vision using Holographic Targets

Cybernet evaluated the feasibility of fabricating and image-matching 3 dimensional holographic docking targets. Following testing of 15 different holographic target images to arrive at the optimum configuration - a tetrahedral constellation--Cybernet performed experiments in machine recognition of target constellations using CyberImage, a general purpose image processing and understanding tool which provided the means for image capture, preprocessing, and model-based target constellation matching.
