A Wireless, Portable Device for Monitoring the Physiological Status of Multiple Remote Patients
Cybernet developed a design for a small-envelope (2x2"x4") battery-powered wireless device for monitoring multiple streams of physiological data. The device contains up to 32 channels for collection of a wide variety of data ranging from EEG and pulse oximetry to blood pressure and temperature. Standardized back-end capture and analysis modules allow easy customization of the device. Wireless communications and buffered memory allow either data storage for up to 24 hours or real-time data transfer. The device will communicate with a field-hardened workstation that will allow data manipulation, viewing, and analysis of multiple collection devices, each feeding multiple data streams.
