Cybernet successfully transported a complex missile plume-tracking algorithm (Handover) into a Transputer parallel processing computer environment to demonstrate the accurate processing of the algorithm in an average of 1.35 seconds–a rate unattainable with previous computing environments. Cybernet also developed Transputer architecture for the algorithm that supports an input frame rate of 60 images per second and an output response time of 1/30th of a second for true high-speed, high-resolution target tracking.
