In this project, Cybernet Systems implemented a compact Internet operated EEG capable physiological measurement system for use in portable monitoring applications in mental health. The system provides wireless communication of collected data to a remote analysis station (based on a conventional portable or desktop PC), uses “active” electrode technology, and provides long term digital data storage locally at the collection point (in excess of 24 hours of data storage). This system supports outpatient EEG, EKG, and/or EMG monitoring, can incorporate other metabolic sensors, and is interoperable with remotely controlled video capture systems for supporting correlation of measured metabolic events with visible manifestations.
