Cybernet Systems Corporation, with the support of Harris Corporation, proposes to build a wireless radio network simulator that is capable of scaling to over several thousands of radios.  Our goal is an extremely high fidelity simulator to represent not only the interactions among applications, protocols, and physical channels, but also allow easily modifiable configurations of large number of radio network nodes.  Leveraging our past experience, we will emulate the Joint Airborne Network (JAN) and validate the JAN architecture through simulation and emulation of real, SCA-compliant software and hardware that could run on appropriate platforms.  The benefits of the proposed system will include: 1. An integrated communication and mobility scenario design and execution. 2. A graphical design interface that minimizes the time required generating representative mission scenarios. 3. A multiple level-of-detail and timeline-enabled visualization interface that simplifies the analysis of network state over time.4. Interactive scenario building that allows the designer to immediately view the effect of any changes of the JAN parameters and/or scenario flow.
