Cybernet is designing, developing, and testing a prototype, portable small caliber ammunition inspection capability to be used in the field by Modular Ammunition Companies. This Automated Ammunition Inspection System (AAIS) will be developed by leveraging our existing Automated Tactical Ammunition Classification System (ATACS) that is currently fielded at 12 CONUS military installations.

“Unlike our previous ATACS System, this prototype AAIS will be packaged in small modular containers that are easy to transport and can be easily setup to perform the inspection process on loose, field-returned small caliber ammunition,” said Glenn Beach, President of Cybernet Systems.

This program is funded from the DoD Ordnance Technology Consortium.
